Overview

As our Compliance Analyst, you will play an essential role in ensuring the business operates with integrity, transparency, and fairness. You will carry out KYC, KYB, AML, and risk assessments, verify customer information, and identify and manage potential compliance risks.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, ethical professional who is fluent in Maltese and English and values accuracy, collaboration, and clear communication. What You Will Be Doing:

As a Compliance Analyst, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of compliance and customer trust. Your day-to-day will include:

• Conducting KYC, KYB, AML, fraud, and risk assessments on customers
• Identifying and assessing applicable risks and proposing suitable mitigating strategies
• Maintaining a positive and professional customer-centric approach
• Verifying customer documents promptly and meticulously
• Communicating with customers through various channels, including live chat, email, and calls
• Performing all compliance duties in alignment with business requirements and regulatory standards
• Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of our products
• Collaborating and coordinating effectively with colleagues
• Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing professional and timely support
• Handling KYC and KYB queries and exception requests from the business
• Actively participating in KYC and KYB-related meetings, calls, and committees
• Demonstrating flexibility by assisting in other areas of the business when necessary

Skills and Requirements:

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Maltese
• Minimum Education Level: MQF Level 3
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in KYC, KYB, or AML compliance (or a related field)
• Specific Skills: KYC and KYB proficiency, strong problem-solving abilities, computer literacy, customer service orientation, critical thinking, and effective teamwork
• Personal Characteristics: Dedication, confidence, team-player mentality, reliability, and professionalism
• Certifications (considered an asset):

• AML Essentials

• Anti-Money Laundering & Countering of Terrorist Financing

• AML Business Risk Assessment

• KYC and KYB
